Dr. Catherine Kwantes is Professor in the Applied Social Psychology area and has been at the University of Windsor since 2002. She holds a PhD and an MA in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, and an MS in Clinical Psychology from Eastern Michigan University, Ypsilanti, MI. She teaches the undergraduate Industrial Organizational Psychology courses, and graduate courses in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Issues in Cultural Diversity, Program Evaluation, and the Practicum course for Master's level students. Her research interests revolve around the development of behavioural and attitudinal norms in organizations – especially how societal culture impacts these norms. Currently she is the principal investigator in the International Trustworthiness Study, a project spanning 13 nations, examining perceptions of what a makes an individual trustworthy in various social and organizational relationships (e.g. friend, family member, work supervisor, work colleague).
